Shire Hall – Group Visits

Explore the underground passages, find the graffiti etched into cells and climb to the wooden cells to the dock; all whilst discovering the stories of those whose lives were forever changed at Shire Hall!

We welcome group visits to Shire Hall and can provide guided tours on request. There are exclusive rates for groups of 10+ visitors.

Guided Tours

Guided tours of the museum, cells and courtroom with a Shire Hall staff member or volunteer for groups of 10+ visitors are £12.50 per person. This includes entry to the museum for the booked day, the guided tour, a presentation and talk by our Shire Hall historian and free entry to any exhibitions available on the day of your visit.

Accessible Tours

Our guided tours are physically accessible (with the exception of some areas of the courtroom).

Refreshments

We can provide a range of refreshment options from tea/coffee and cake to hot and cold lunches or afternoon tea. Refreshments will need to be pre-ordered at the time of booking. For groups of 10+ visitors there are discounts per person available, please get in touch to discuss your options.
